Do you know what they mean when authors say “This is a book of my heart”? Usually it’s a book we’ve been dreaming of writing for years - working toward - researching - living in that book world. Since 2007 I have been intrigued with Boudicca, the ancient Celtic queen who united the tribes of Briton in 60 AD - 61 AD and almost forced the Romans to retreat back to Italy. She’s a fierce, intelligent, intriguing character and the ancient Britons she led were passionate and courageous. They lived and loved vibrantly and fully - and I am overjoyed to announce that my book, REBEL, WARRIOR, QUEEN, will bring them alive, as well as their incredible queen, Boudicca. I can’t wait to share more updates with you, but right now just know I’m deep into her incredible story and look forward to bringing it to you in 2024.
